Alessandro Bollo
Economia della Cultura, 2018, issue 4, 543-550
Abstract:
The article intends to underline the crucial role of historical archives in the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage in order to create meaningful connections between the past and the present topics. This is the sense of the «Polo del '900» a new cultural and hybrid center based in Turin that - among the many things - has been designed to connect the heritages with high tech innovative approaches. Particularly the article focuses on SAS - Smart Archive Search, an innovative pilot project that uses Artificial Intelligence for improving the search performances of the digitalized archives.
