Abstract:
The delicate and fortunate relationship between nature, industry and social tranquility has allowed the Abruzzo entrepreneurial system to develop, over time, an orientation towards social and environmental responsibility. In Abruzzo, one in five companies is betting on green innovations. On this basis, in 2016, «Carta di Pescara for Sustainable Industry» was born: a pact between institutions, companies, universities; a European best practice that brought together a community of innovative entrepreneurs inspired by sustainability and humanism. In 2018 Hubruzzo, Fondazione Industria Sostenibile, was founded by some representatives entrepreneurs of this community. Hubruzzo is a private foundation that aims to promote excellent productive activities; to narrate the industry through entrepreneurs who have been able to support local vocations; to support the virtuous circle between environmental protection and industrial activity; to make Abruzzo more attractive.
