Free-trade agreements and loss of economic sovereignty: Myth or reality?
Manuela Moschella
Stato e mercato, 2017, issue 1, 121-132
Abstract:
This paper provides a commentary on the papers in this issue and provides some further reflections on the impact of international trade on domestic politics and policymaking. In particular, the paper uses the insights of the literature on financial integration in order to cast doubt on some of the arguments that justify the new protectionist thesis.
