FDI and Banking Sector: a Dangerous Relation?
Federico Riganti
Banca Impresa Società, 2022, issue 1, 105-124
Abstract:
The crisis due to the Covid-19 intervention has triggered a new expansion of the special powers of the State in particular sectors. This new framework, perhaps understandable from a political point of view, has wide margins of uncertainty and criticality if related, for example, to the banking market (already characterized by a deep supervision made by the sector authorities). Against this background, this paper aims at offering a critique of state interventionism in economics.
