Banking foundations: A new economic governance?

Abstract: The article examines the role of foundations in economic governance with particular reference to the banking sector. The work aims to evaluate whether the banking foundations are compatible with the purpose pursued by subsidiary banks and if the purpose of the latters can be modified by the public interest pursued by the institutions.
