Investment research and investment advice: real differences?

Abstract: The article examines the investment research - a service introduced by MIFID - in order to describe the major application problems. In particular, the paper will an- alyse similarities and differences between investment research and investment advice, highlighting the potential problems in practice, and outlining possible solutions from an operational point of view.
