Abstract:
The Paper aims to describe the role and the function of the monitoring body of italian banks and its relationship with the internal control framework in the light of the new regulations published by Banca d'Italia in 2013-2014; the author focuses on the principal legal differences between the corporate governance of banks and that of the other companies.
