Gianluca Mucciarone
Banca Impresa Società, 2016, issue 2, 355-363
Abstract:
This work deals with the changes, occurred in the period between 2013 and 2016, in banking rules and case law applying to the phenomenon of compound interest, which in Italy has been a source of conflict. This work then answers primarily the following questions: how do recent banking rules harmonise with general laws? How does these tie in with the other banking rules? How do they coordinate with European rules? The most recent rules are finally able to resolve fairly the conflict between banks and clients?
