Abstract:
This paper describes some of the dynamics and processes affecting the economic aggregate represented by knowledge intensive business services, commonly known, both nationally and internationally, with the acronym of KIBS, as well as the role they play in modern economic systems. In particular, this work aims at identifying the components of activities falling within the KIBS and its quantification with reference to one of the most representative regions of Southern Italy - i.e., Campania.
