Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to develop a preliminary analysis on the employment outcomes of 2010 master's graduates five years after graduation, paying particular attention to graduates employed and residing in the South. The data source used is provided by the survey carried out yearly by AlmaLaurea on the employment outcomes of graduates. From a comparative analysis perspective where the occupational performances of graduates employed and resident in the South are compared with their counterparts in Central-Northern regions, a picture of marked divergence emerges, thus confirming the dualistic structure of our country's economic and social fabric.
