Abstract: This work aims to offer some considerations about fair trade withparticular attention to its supply policies, giving some replies to threespecific research questions: the countries of the South of the world areat the same way involved in Fair Trade? If there are some geographicaldifferences, they are due to the strategies of the fair trade importers?There are other elements that can influence this possible geographicaldifferences?The paper wants reply to these research question through the casestudy of Ctm Altromercato, the most important Italian importers of fairtrade products.
