Abstract: This research work deals with development of self-consolidating high performance concrete (SCHPC) incorporating palm oil fuel ash (POFA) and pulverized burnt clay (PBC) as the supplementary cementitious materials. Both POFA and PBC were used to replace 5%, 10% and 15% of cement by weight. The workability of SCHPC mixes was investigated, as well as the mechanical properties at 3, 7 and 28 days of curing age. The findings revealed that SCHPC mixes exhibit excellent workability. For compressive and splitting tensile strength, it was found that only mix which contained 5% POFA and 5% PBC exceeds the strength of control mix. As for the flexural strength, all mixes have lower strength than the control mix except for 10% POFA and 5% PBC. It can be concluded that only the 5% POFA/ 5% PBC was the most effective mix for SCHPC since it has the highest compressive and splitting tensile strength.
