Abstract: Beyond esoteric interest, organocatalysis has now become one major pillar of asymmetric catalysis. Here, we discuss how new activation modes are conquering challenging stereoselective transformations and the recent integration of organocatalysis with emerging photo- and electrocatalysis, as well as artificial intelligence.
