Abstract:
Nature Communications 5: Article number: 3434 (2014); Published: 18 March 2014; Updated: 2 April 2015 The original version of this Article contained an error in the computation of the total basin-wide mass loss per year. Following publication of the paper, it was brought to our attention by Mr Silvaand Dr Kellner of Brown University that losses from both small and intermediate disturbances had been wrongly calculated, resulting in an overestimate of total disturbance loss.
