Abstract: The increasing demand for lithium has exposed the challenges of current extraction technologies in meeting sustainability goals. Now, a nanofiltration technique enables direct lithium extraction from salt-lake brines with high efficiency, effective magnesium/lithium separation, and reduced environmental impact.
