Abstract:
Introduced in 2014, the Law on financing for small and medium-sized enterprises was designed to facilitate their access to bank loans, by specifying the transparency obligations imposed on lenders and borrowers. The dynamics of lending show that borrowing conditions were particularly favourable for SMEs up until early 2020, without bringing to light any specific effects of the Law.
