Older workers and retirement decisions in Belgium: mapping insights from survey data

Abstract: The employment rate of workers aged 55 to 64 has increased substantially. However, according to the SHARE survey data for Belgium, close to one in three older workers wishes to exit the labour market: how they perceive their working environment is a key factor in this regard.
