Abstract: More robust data on wealth have recently become available, allowing a more thorough analysis of economic inequality. Is wealth inequality higher or lower in Belgium than in other European countries? Which components of wealth contribute to an increase or decrease in inequality? Which groups find it more difficult to accumulate wealth?
