Abstract: In the first of the IPF 2021 Policy Roundtables, four esteemed panelists explored and drew lessons from the reforms in the year 1991, which marked a paradigm shift in India’s economic policies, and identified core areas of reforms for the future. After their initial remarks, the panelists were joined by other participants in a lively discussion. This is a short summary of the Roundtable. For a complete rendition, please view the session video hyperlinked at the end of this summary.
