Démocratie et propriété chez les premiers socialistes républicains français: les enjeux politiques de l’organisation du crédit
Andrea Lanza
Histoire, économie & société, 2011, vol. 2011, issue 03, 81-94
Abstract:
This article focuses on the conception of property in the first French Republican Socialists during the July Monarchy in order to understand the formation of their political discourse. The analyse of the problem of property enlightens the tensions animating the first phase of democracy as well as the modern and politically individualistic character of Socialism. In particular, through this case study, this conception of democracy appears in terms of a society of individuals with same rights spontaneously orientated to the common wealth.
