La Prusse, du duché au royaume

Histoire, économie & société, 2013, vol. 2013, issue 02, 3-17
Abstract:
Prussia : this name signified so many things, positive as well as negative, that it’s necessary to go back to sure facts : the partition of 1466 between the royal Polish Prussia and the Teutonic one, which became, after the secularization of 1525 an Hohenzollern duchy and the first protestant state in Europe. The historian shall be surprised to see that Prussia was very different from that it became later.
