MANIFESTATIONS OF THE "CORRUPTION" IN THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY

Abstract: Corruption is an obstacle for the development of the modern societies. It can manifest itself in both the public and the private sector. If there is not a definite state anti-corruption policy, it can cause serious material and non-material damages to the parties in a short period of time. These events are most often observed in the public sector, especially when large amounts of money are concerned, as well as in the public-private partnerships. The Bulgarian anti-corruption policy is in line with the European one, and despite it is not so successful, it continues to have a positive impact in terms of limiting the corruption.
