Abstract:
The article is of a review nature and presents an analysis of Greece's economic development from its accession to the European Union to the present day. The aim is to present the issues that caused the crisis, the increase in external debt, and the development of the Greek economy after the crisis. Interesting results are presented regarding changes in unemployment, budget, taxes, population income, and foreign investments, as well as the gradual recovery of the economy and important sectors such as tourism, following the problems of recent years related to COVID and the war in Ukraine.
