Abstract:
The modern society experiences the growing need for leaders in every area and sphere of activity. In order to be able to successfully perform his/her managerial functions in the business organization each manager at every level should be a leader. Leader’s actions and solutions become more and more demanded. They prevail in the efficient management. The main purpose of this article is to identify the basic approaches to studying leadership and to establish the managers’ attitudes with regard to the manners and approaches to satisfying the Bulgarian enterprises’ need for leaders. The main research methods used in this work are content analysis, method of comparison, intuitive and systematic approach, method of analysis and synthesis and inquiry.
