DYNAMICS OF THE FOREIGN TRADE OF BULGARIA WITH BALKAN COUNTRIES

Abstract: The foreign trade activity with the Balkan countries has an important role in enhancing the competitiveness and prosperity of enterprises in Bulgaria. These countries are among the most important trade and economic partners of Bulgaria, which occupy a priority place in foreign trade. In this context, the objective of this paper is to explore and analyze the development of foreign trade in goods between Bulgaria and the Balkan countries. To study the trend, statistical data for the period 2011 to 2015 was analyzed. The dynamics of foreign trade - total, by trading partners and by individual products are explored. The import and export of goods groups such as: consumer goods; raw materials; investment goods; energy resources and other goods are analyzed. Conclusions are made for the development of foreign trade with the surveyed countries and the need for action to stimulate foreign trade.
