Abstract:
Based on the philosophy of cultural tourism, the latter’s prioritized sectors for development in Bulgaria are outlined. Cultural tourism is also analyzed as a factor for synergic growth, a basis for stimulation of certain activities and infusion of new vitality into settlements. This kind of tourism is a sector of the economy contributing to the sustainable development of the natural and anthropogenic environment under balanced utilization of natural, and man-created cultural, resources.
