INNOVATION SOLUTIONS FOR LEISURE TIME USAGE

Abstract: Leisure time is one of the most significant innovations, which appeared in the first half of the XX century. The presence if leisure time seen as a time beside the hours devoted to labor, feeding, sleep and travel to the working place and back to home, and in general beside all the activities devoted to sustaining of the physical existence of the human beings, have unlocked a whole new and unknown till that very moment universe of human necessities. A new solvent demand has appeared directed towards new activities, which could be practices during the hours and the days comprising leisure time. All the above has led to the creation of specific types of innovations aimed at leisure time usage. The present article’s goal is to review the innovation solutions offered for leisure time by a specific economic activity such as tourism. Furthermore, a model for taking of “go/not go” decisions for the innovation processes is presented as well.
