Abstract:
The present paper presents some of the results of the research project entitled “Role of students’ evaluation of the quality of teaching and the general education process at IBS, Botevgrad. The attitudes and expectations of teachers regarding students’ evaluation of quality of teaching at IBS have been studied by use of two basic indicators. The first one is the judgment of the idea of evaluation of teachers by students. The second one examines the expectations of teachers in connection with the objectiveness of students’ evaluations. The analysis of the data on the two indicators shows the specific interactions between teachers and students. The results of this partial study lead to the conclusion that pedagogical interrelationships at IBS can be developed further if students’ evaluations of teaching and teachers should be taken into account.
