Abstract: In the conditions of the society of knowledge the model again is a mediator between experiment and the theory and is representing the interrelations in social phenomena. The model reproduces the characteristics of the analysed object in the new reality and creates its homological integrity, containing its structure, function, aspects and development. Being a research method, aimed at studing the unknown phenomena, modelling in the society of knowledge is applyed also in social communication theory and practice.
