Abstract: Mountain tourism is seen as symbiosis with other functions of the local population with its traditional way of life, culture and preservation ofnatural habitats. Such an approach of integrated planning and tourism development already relates to the principles of sustainable development and the emergence of alternative tourism: green tourism, simple tourism, soft tourism, cultural tourism, environment-sparing tourism, ecological tourism. Not without significance is the spatial planning of mountain regions and the structural and landscape planning of mountain resorts.
