Abstract: In this article are investigated the structural changes and the dynamics of the productivity in the industry of the Republic of Bulgaria. The productivity is on the basis of the competitiveness of the industrial enterprises. In order to evaluate its extent and the approaches that have to be made for its increase it is necessary to make an analysis using the statistical methods on the extent of sections and subsections and to trace the main tendencies and the reasons for them.
