Abstract:
Career planning is a key issue in the management of career development of the personnel. Its effective execution is based on the understanding of the theoretical foundations of the career – its nature, stages of development, motivation, strengths and traits of the personnel determining the choice of profession and career and the roadmap of career development. The recognition of the objectives of the organization and its policy of management of the personnel is of great importance. The mapping of personality traits, capabilities, and goals skills of the individuals against the organization’s objectives and mission guarantees the success of career planning.
