Abstract: In this article we consider the problem of the economic crisis from the point of view of spiritual processes taking place in the contemporary world. We are trying to defend the thesis that the deep reason of the economic crisis is the degree of consciousness of the man of his own essence, which determines a long-lasting solution of the problem with the crises. At the very bottom of the crises there lies an imposed sample of behavior and consumption, which comes from an erroneous and fatal to the man’s existence presumption that the man’s essence is his body.
