Abstract:
The article is devoted to the discussion of nature of information and information technology. A definition is set about their meaning, place and role in the historical transition from industrial society to the next social-economical formation of the post-industrial society. Initiator for the post-industrial society is the information resources, intellectual knowledge and intellectual ability of the people, their initiative and creativity during the process of determination of global changes in the law, social and international relations.
