Alexander Tassev

Economics and Management, 2011, vol. 7, issue 2, 54-67

Abstract: In this article has been examined the foreign trade exchange of Bulgaria with CIS countries–former members of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance, from contemporary and retrospective aspect. The purpose was to identify the main reasons for the trade exchange state for the period 1986-2008, through analysis of exportation and importation structures, and to give directions for the considerable trade balance improvement. In the research process were given answers to the following important questions: - which are the leading branches and commodities’ groups of the trade exchange; - which are the reasons for the big negative trade balance with CIS countries.
