Abstract: This report concerns the global influence of the Internet on sales and marketing process in the tourism sector. Emphasis is placed on the main reservation and distribution systems in the field of tourism, applicable to tour operators and hoteliers and their impact on consumer demand and increased competitiveness of tourism enterprises. The paper is pinned useful and practical information systems and platforms of various types such as: B2C / Online travel agencies /, B2B / GDS systems / and Bulgarian forms distribution systems offers between tour operators and travel agents in real time. Will focus on the nature of the different platforms, what are their pros and cons, and their practical application in the tourism business.
