Abstract: A subject of analysis is the possibilities of a procedural management of educational activities. The latter ones are positioned in three areas: a) acquisition of a major in a certain educational qualification degree; b) raising the qualification in a given major or acquiring a new one without the acquisition of such a degree; c) acquisition of complementary skills by an already acquired major, which have a broad or narrow subject profile. Functions of procedures in managing the educational activities have been examined (method, standard, operational instrument, etc.). The possibilities of procedures in managing the quality as well as administering the educational activities for improving the management efficiency are discussed (reduction of spontaneity, defining rights and responsibilities, comparison and evaluation of results, coordination of goals with the demands by customers, building attitudes for continuous improvement of the functioning of the educational activities’ system).
