Abstract: The purpose of this paper is twofold. On one hand, intermediation with securities in Bulgaria is analyzed from a legal and an economic aspect, making proposals for greater clarity in the use of certain terms and emphasizes the importance of the brokerage profession. On the other hand, the author focuses on an unresolved issue in our investment theory and practice, namely the accessibility of investment consulting. It is proposed an option for its promotion so as to help expanding the investment culture in Bulgaria and open new opportunities for investments in financial assets.
