Abstract:
The main parameters for the development of new strategies for regional development of districts and the municipal plans for regional development, with a horizon of 2020- 2025, will be set according to the National Strategy for Regional Development 2012-2022 and the National Spatial Development Concept for the period 2013 - 2025. In the new strategies for regional development of districts and municipal plans for regional development with a horizon of 2020 - 2025 characteristics and trends of local models for regional development, for which an example was given in the text above, should be taken into account in the formulation of vision and priorities to be implemented in the forecast year. So presented models for municipal development in the central regions provide the opportunity not only to stabilize the municipalities of these areas, but to obtain a sustainable regional development, which thereby will integrate gradually the peripheral areas over time. Thus, the interaction central - peripheral areas will increase, which would stabilize "the contact - buffer" zones between them and will gradually increase the territory of the central areas.
