Abstract: The realized necessity of constant self-improvement and the ability to maintain current knowledge and skills that meet the requirements of the labor market are some of the major factors driving people to never stop learning. This philosophy is integral part of all European Union documents related to learning. It is believed that the continual improvement of the individual not only expands his knowledge and skills in a particular field, but also helps to increase his competitiveness and employability.
