Strukturelle Reziprozität und die Annahme des Anderen

Thomas Loer

Z'GuG Zeitschrift für Gemeinwirtschaft und Gemeinwohl, 2022, vol. 45, issue 1, 153-182

Abstract: Structural reciprocity is constitutive for the human species. It founds community and moulds persons. The answers to this given by specific cultures can be differentiated as performing reciprocity positively, negatively, or neutrally. Community is constituted by reciprocal acceptance of persons. This yields the question how reciprocal acceptance of the other could be realised materially adequately and empoweringly. Inspired by democracy the answer to this question debated here is the idea of an unconditional basic income. Concludingly how reciprocity and this suggestion for a readjustment of our modern social state fall into place will be discussed.
