Wohnen – eine existenzphilosophische Betrachtung
Jürgen Hasse
Z'GuG Zeitschrift für Gemeinwirtschaft und Gemeinwohl, 2022, vol. 45, issue 1, 4-17
Abstract:
Between being emotionally and subjectively affected (by atmospheres) and being factually and objectively affected (by socio-economic and ecological living conditions), the individual strives for comfortable and homely living. This article examines the meaning of housing from the perspective of existential philosophy as well as the philosophy of life. In the present, housing is coming under pressure of care as well as ethical reflection and practical revision. Forms of residential living that take more from the natural and social world than they give back to it in a way that balances the burden are proving to be unsustainable. What perspectives does conscious self-encounter open up?
