Abstract: By means of the morphological paradigm of the analysis of economic social entities, the public economy of the third sector can be fruitfully opened up within the framework of a comprehensive dynamic geometry of a multi-sectoral system analysis. This has improved the understanding of the complex interplay of the welfare state, welfare society and the duality of the public and private sectors. However, the multi-sectoral classification models are increasingly proving to be in need of further development. This concerns the strengthening of the commons economy in the context of the regulated carrier pluralistic quasi-market as well as the design of the free commons in the face of sustainability problems in the Anthropocene.
