Abstract:
The WSI Report on Minimum Wages 2014 gives an overview of the current developments of minimum wages in Europe and selected non-European countries. Drawing on the WSI Minimum Wage Database, the report provides current data on the level and development of statutory minimum wages. In recent years, many countries saw a rather stagnating development of their minimum wages. This trend has also continued in 2013. In the meantime, however, there are more and more voices demanding much more pronounced increases of minimum wages for the near future.
