Abstract: General pay increases agreed in the first six months of the 2015 collective bargaining round range from 2% to 3.5% and more in most segments for the current year, and for the coming year between 1% and 3%. The average duration of the new pay agreements is 19.1 months. Calculated on an annual basis, the average increase of wages based on collective agreements for 14.2 million employees in 2015 will be around 2.9%, which is above the average increase of 3.1% in 2014. This will lead to noticeable real wage increases this year.
