Abstract:
What are the current findings of research into work awareness on the standards used by employees to evaluate the value and recognition of their work? What constitutes “good work” from their point of view and what guidelines and challenges for the design of (digital) work in the future can be deduced by trade unions from this? The article addresses these questions. The scientific research into expectations of fairness is of particular relevance for trade unions as employees evaluate the reality and legitimacy of work regulations against these criteria.
