Weltweites Interesse an Multi-Stakeholder Genossenschaften

Abstract: In this paper it is described why and how multi-stakeholder cooperatives (MSCs) have developed into an organizational and legal pattern of worldwide interest. After defining the cooperative society and the particular tasks of managing MSCs, the special ways of measuring their success, special legal provisions required for managing MSCs with heterogeneous membership and extended solidarity beyond membership are discussed. Cases from several European countries, Japan and Canada are presented and illustrated by quotations from the respective cooperative laws.
