Abstract: Cost overruns in major projects are often noted and therefore also the subject of public and professional discussion. Due to the financing volume of these projects, several partners come together, usually. Therefore in the case of cost overruns, the question arises of how to allocate the additional costs between the partners. Interestingly enough, this question has so far received little attention and has not been answered. In the following article, a general solution for this problem class is developed.
