Northern municipal social policy in the field of health care: international experience

Abstract: The article considers foreign experience of policy implementation in the field of public health Nordic. It was determined that the policies in the health sector at the local level should be based not only on improving the state of health, but also on the totality of measures aimed at improving health of the population. Improving health is the most important indicator, which determines the level of socio-economic development, requires the mandatory implementation of the principle of social justice in health development. Municipal policy in the health sector should be aimed at solving problems of local communities and take into account local peculiarities. It should be designed and implemented in a close association with the regional and federal policy, and with an active participation of various organizations in public and private sectors, NGOs, municipal residents.
