Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of the Russian Corporate Governance Code, which was adopted by the Government of Russian Federation on November 28, 2001. The research is based on law and economic methods and touches upon the problems of corporate regulations creation and the Corporate Governance Code implementation process. Two basic concepts concerning corporate regulations and the problem of trade-off between administrative and self-regulating methods are also discussed in the article.
